Rockport Hands of Hope, Incorporated works alongside the residents of the Coastal Bend Area to rebuild their lives and homes through personal and material assistance.
RHOH provides assistance with home repairs, ramps, and property needs to residents of the Coastal Bend Area. We collaborate with approximately 17 entities to accomplish the needed tasks. Projects are largely completed with volunteer assistance. All repairs requiring specialized skills (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, septic) are performed by local licensed and bonded contractors.
RHOH provides projects in the community. We provide lodging and meals for the volunteer groups. We have completed more than 1000 projects since Hurricane Harvey. Our volunteers have worked with the County of Aransas, Texas Department of Transportation, the City of Rockport, and the Town of Fulton. We also work with two separate Habitat for Humanity organizations, Catholic Charities, All Hands and Hearts, Texas Baptist Men, Lutheran, Disaster Services, C.A.R.E., Mennonite Disaster Relief, and various other organizations as they request our help.
At this time our Summer our volunteers and contractors are scheduled to work in Rockport, Fulton, Sinton, Austwell, Refugio, Taft, Odem, Portland, Gregory, Tivoli, Corpus Christi, and Kingsville.
